The music of Franz Schubert and various elements adapted from the romantic composer’s biography form the focus of this production. Music from his most famous work “Death and the Maiden” is performed on stage, accompanied by a modern commentary from Wojciech Blecharz. The bodies of the performers themselves, as well as their great sense of humour, are the starting points for this Schubertiade, while the four pieces performed live by the string quartet outline the four different parts of the show, revealing what is hidden, shameful, sensual and incomprehensible.
